Companies don’t hire people without first checking their references. You shouldn’t work with someone without checking their references either. This is what some of my clients have said about me recently.....

I had little time to buy a house, was from out of town and did not know the city.  Charlene listened to me needs, and understood my time contraints.  She drove me around (In spite of the blizzard!)  and found exactlry what I asked.  She also drove to my hotel that evening with papers ready to sign, etc and also gave names of contractors to fix the necessary electrical and inspectors so the deal could be closed quickly.  I was sorry the day went so quickly, I enjoyed her company as well as her efficiency.  She kept me well informed by email through the rest of the process and when we met again when I took possession of the house, it was like meeting an old friend.  (Lauren)

Charlene was great from the start.  I knew nothing about Edmonton and was flying in for 5 days from another province to buy a house that we had to have possession of in less than a month.  Charlene and I corresponded by email about my needs and she picked me up from the airport with a list of properties we could look at immediately.  We needed to be close to my husbands work, within half an hours commute and she carefully chose a general area that would be convenient for us.  I found the house we wanted to buy on the second day.  Charlene gave me 3 contacts of house inspectors and drove me there the next day and waited for 2.5 hours until it was done.  She also recommended a good lawyer to help us do all the paperwork.  When we arrived in Edmonton to live here, she again picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel.  Charlene was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process.  We could not have done it without her!  I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to buy a house.  (Karina)

We met Charlene when she was just starting out several years ago.  She was covering for another agent who was unavailable.  When we said we were looking for investment properties, she was great at finding properties that fit our criteria.  She really "gets" real estate investing!  We have recommended her to several of our investor friends and they have all been very happy with the work she did for them as well.  Charlene is honest and straightforward.  She works hard for her clients and gives 100% to everything she does! What can I say about Charlene Speers except grab her if you can!

I mentioned to a colleague that my husband and I were looking for a new home. She immediately said you have to talk to Charlene and promptly got her on the phone. Were they friends? Absolutely! They met when my colleague purchased her home through Charlene. I’ve since said on many occasions, that that referral was one of the nicest things anyone had done for me.

Charlene was there for us day and night. She went out of her way to find us the home of our dreams and then she sold our townhouse in record time, for much more than we hoped.

Charlene made our house buying experience wonderful. This was our second house but our first experience with a realtor. We purchased our first house privately and although everything got completed, it was a stressful endeavor. The difference it made having Charlene to help us with the purchase was unbelievable.

For our second house we needed to purchase it on a quick deadline as our home had already sold and we needed a place to go ASAP. Charlene was recommended to us by a fellow realtor, and we are glad she was. She listened to exactly what we were looking for on our first phone call. Within the day she emailed us listings and specs with pictures of almost a dozen houses to look at. We were absolutely amazed at how fast she responded to finding us houses that were exactly what we said we wanted to look at.

Touring the houses with Charlene was a pleasure. She never once pushed us to make a decision. She had done her research on the home to answer any questions for us and what she couldn’t answer she followed up on and let us know. She listened to our comments on things we liked and disliked so that when she searched for other houses for us to look at on the MLS listing she could ensure she was showing us houses we would like. Charlene always made herself available for us which was excellent due to our tight schedule to purchase a new home.

Charlene was an integral part in helping us find and buy our dream home. We have now lived in it for a year and are still so happy with it. We have recommended Charlene to everyone we know looking to buy or sell a home.
